Stop downloading things just to upload them again
Useful documents rarely arrive as direct uploads: they come in as email attachments and sit in drives and file servers you already use. Paperplane brings them into your archive and indexes them for quick search and AI search, right alongside anything you upload.
Supported connections
| Source | How it works |
|---|---|
| Gmail | Recurring sync of attachments from the mailbox, every 15 minutes, hourly, every 6 or 12 hours, or daily. |
| Outlook | Recurring sync of attachments from the mailbox on the schedule you choose. |
| IMAP mailboxes | The same recurring sync for any IMAP-compatible mailbox. |
| Google Drive | One-time import of the folders you choose, with read-only access. |
| SharePoint | One-time import of the folders you choose. |
| Dropbox | One-time import of the folders you choose. |
| File servers | One-time import over FTP, FTPS or SFTP, with host-key fingerprint verification for SFTP. |
For every import you choose the folders and file types worth bringing in, then review the result: what was added, what was skipped and why. Duplicates are detected.
